NASDA’s Kakuda Propulsion Center (KPC) Received Third-Party Certification to ISO 14001

The National Space Development Agency of Japan (NASDA) is actively promoting ISO 14001 (environmental management system) as NASDA’s positive attitude through its field centers. NASDA’s Kakuda Propulsion Center (KPC) in Kakuda City, Miyagi Prefecture, has received a third-party certification to ISO 14001 on March 5, 2001.

KPC is the third center for ISO 14001 certification, following the Earth Observation Center (EOC) in Hatoyama, Saitama Prefecture and the Okinawa Tracking and Communication Station (OTCS), in Okinawa Prefecture.
