NASAQuest Webcast on 13 March 2000 with Astronaut Michael P. Anderson

Dear NASAQuest List Members,

Greetings to all! The month of March comes in like a lion at NASA Quest! We have
a very exciting event planned for March 13 that we would like to highlight this week!
We hope this gives you time to “plan ahead”!

WHO: Astronaut Michael P. Anderson, (Lieutenant Colonel, USAF)

WHAT: Visit with youth in HUD supported computer labs across the country via live WEBCAST

WHEN: Monday, March 13

TIME: 1:00 pm PST (4:00 pm EST)

GRADE LEVEL: K-12

Selected by NASA in December 1994, Anderson reported to the Johnson Space Center in March 1995.
He completed a year of training and evaluation, and qualified for flight crew assignment as a mission
specialist. Anderson was initially assigned technical duties in the Flight Support Branch of the Astronaut
Office. Anderson flew on the crew of STS-89. In completing his first space flight and has logging over 211
hours in space.
