ButtKicker(R) brand products fuel Shuttle Launch Experience for fifth straight year at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

The Guitammer Company (OTCBB: GTMM.OB) is pleased to announce that its 266 ButtKicker(R) LFE “low frequency effect” tactile transducers, installed in 2006, continue to “blast” visitors into a virtual world of space flight at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.

Installed in several flight simulators and the front entrance “briefing room,” ButtKicker(R) brand products add a very powerful, musically-accurate low-frequency vibration that lets visitors experience what it feels like to be in a shuttle launch.

“The idea was to create a ‘sensory illusion’ that gives the feeling of being launched into space,” says Bob Rogers, Founder of BRC Imagination Arts, which created the exhibits. “ButtKickers are used in flight simulators and in a ‘pre-briefing’ room, where images of a launch are shown and ButtKickers shake the dickens out of the floor. It is a very, very ingenious product. It’s become one of the standard things in our tool kit that we look to create compelling experiences.”

In addition to the front entrance briefing room, 160 of the ButtKicker(R) LFE transducers are used in several flight simulators to reproduce the feeling of rocket launches and space flight.

“When you’re simulating a rocket taking off, you have to deliver a substantial amount of vibration. The ButtKickers did that for us. The vibrations they create really help to suspend reality and make you think you are taking off. There is simply nothing else on the market that could deliver the effect we needed,” said Josh Cottrell of BRC Imagination Arts.

The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, visit: http://kennedyspacecenter.com/
