The Crew for the Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) arrived
at Kennedy Space Center at approximately 12 noon EST on Jan. 27,
2000, flying T-38 jet airplanes. The SRTM mission is scheduled to
liftoff on Monday at 12:47 pm EST.

ITEM 4a – SOLVE SCIENTISTS WORKING IN SWEDEN————–TRT 6:36

The SOLVE mission is an international scientific and research
effort to study Arctic ozone. The field campaign is being
conducted in Kiruna, Sweden. Footage shows preparation at the
Arena Arctica hangar of NASA1s ER-2 (smaller) and DC-8 (larger)
specially equipped airplanes, taxi and takeoff. Footage also
includes an arctic sunrise.
