NASA Awards Contract for Consolidated Facility, Maintenance Services

NASA has awarded the Synergy-Achieving Consolidated Operations and Maintenance (SACOM) contract to Syncom Space Service LLC of Fort Worth, Texas to provide consolidated facility operations and maintenance services for institutional and technical facilities, and perform test and manufacturing support services at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi, and Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. 

This performance-based, hybrid contract includes a one-year base period that begins Oct. 1 and seven option periods totaling nine years and five months, with a maximum potential value of $1.2 billion.
