NASA announced selection today of USfalcon, Inc. of Cary, North Carolina, to provide aircraft-related services at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif.

The Aircraft Related Services procurement was conducted as a full and open competition and will be awarded during the latter part of August 2016. It is a single award hybrid contract with cost-plus fixed-fee (CPFF) contract with core line items (CLINs) and indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) CLINs for contract management, testing and general services. The minimum amount of the IDIQ supplies or services that will be ordered during the effective period of this contract is $100,000, and the maximum IDIQ value is $20 million. The period of performance consists of a one-year base followed by one two-year option and two one-year options, resulting in a maximum potential performance period of five years.

USfalcon will provide aircraft operations, research aircraft systems, engineering, training and administration. The contract will support the requirements of Ames’ Aviation Management Office and the U.S. Army Aviation Development Directorate-Aeroflightdynamics Directorate.
