CLEVELAND — Astronauts Leland Melvin and Mike Foreman will participate in the 93.1 WZAK live broadcast of the Tom Joyner Morning Show Back to School Campaign at Buchtel High School, 1040 Copley Road, Akron, Ohio on Friday, Aug. 6. The appearances are part of NASA’s initiative to engage students in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, or STEM.

In addition, NASA’s Glenn Research Center will have educational activities and interactive displays at the event, which will be held from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will be able to experience the Mobile Orion Vehicle Explorer and take home a free souvenir photo of themselves as an astronaut in space along with many giveaways.
