NASA and Florida Space Authority to Brief Industry on Research Park Plans

NASA and the Florida Space Authority (FSA) will hold an Industry Briefing on
Friday, June 28, to update interested parties on plans for the International
Space Research Park(tm) at NASA’s John F. Kennedy Space Center and to
solicit industry comments on draft use guidelines published June 17 in the
Federal Business Opportunities Web site. The briefing is scheduled to
begin at 9:30 a.m. and conclude at 11 a.m.

Following the briefing, transportation will be provided for a brief
windshield tour of the proposed park site, a tract of about 400 acres
located west of State Road 3 and south of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor
Complex.

The draft use guidelines, a synopsis of the park project, and an outline of
industry opportunities can be viewed at the NASA or Florida Space Authority
Web sites, for International Space Research Park, under the Commerce
Business Daily Announcement. The NASA Web address is
http://researchpark.ksc.nasa.gov.

Media representatives wishing to attend should drive directly to the KSC
Visitor Complex and register at the KSC Visitor Complex Ticket Plaza prior
to the start of the briefing, which will be presented in the Universe
