Minister Rock to name International Space Station Canadian Robot

St-Hubert, Quebec, April 22, 2003 – Media are invited to join Industry
Minister Allan Rock in a guided tour of the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) lead
by its President, Marc Garneau.

After the tour, Minister Rock will unveil the official name selected for the
Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator, Canada’s latest contribution to the
International Space Station. The third and last component of the Mobile
Servicing System is a highly advanced space robotics system that also
includes Canadarm2 and the Mobile Base System.
