Millennium Space Systems Launches ALTAIR Mission Customization Website

Millennium Space Systems announces the launch of MyALTAIR.com, a user interactive site designed to customize mission concepts based on Millennium’s ALTAIR small space platform. The site is designed as an easy-to-use mission concept tool for mission planners, commercial entrepreneurs, principal investigators and anyone who dreams of affordably venturing to space, where the user can select from an array of mission parameters, payloads, CONOPS and communication paths.

MyALTAIR.com allows site visitors to customize their spacecraft to accommodate an array of mission areas including weather, communications, navigation, single & multi-band imaging, signals collection, earth science, space science and planetary & deep space exploration. The site is designed with the customer in mind, to provide an easy and straightforward interactive experience in visualizing the many mission possibilities our ALTAIR™ platform provides. The idea for the app was inspired by Millennium Space’s ever growing customer base, as noted by Natalie Rodriguez, a Spacecraft Systems Engineer and key MyALTAIR.com site developer. “We receive a lot of inquiries from different corners of the space industry and in an effort to help customers generate mission concepts, we wanted to provide an app to enable first-order mission design, highlighting the affordability and performance of our ALTAIR™ bus. We want to allow anyone to be an armchair mission designer to visualize their mission in space, whether it’s a mature mission plan or just a concept on a napkin.”

Coincident with the rollout of the MyALTAIR.com website, Millennium Space proudly announced the first commercial ALTAIR™ spacecraft is now in production.
