Media Advisory: Warner, Wolf and NASA Administrator to Speak at Aurora Dedication

What: Dedication of Aurora Flight Sciences’ 50,000 square foot Product Development Facility located at the Manassas Regional Airport. The facility will be the headquarters of the company’s engineering organization and will be used to develop the ARES Mars Airplane and Aurora’s GoldenEye(R) and Excalibur tactical unmanned aircraft.

Who: Local, state and national leaders from Northern Virginia and executives from Aurora Flight Sciences. Confirmed speakers include:

  • Senator John Warner (R-VA), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee
  • Congressman Frank Wolf (R-VA), Chairman of the Science, State, Justice and Commerce and Related Agencies Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee
  • Dr. Michael Griffin, NASA Administrator
  • Dr. John Langford, President & Chief Executive Officer, Aurora Flight Sciences
