Media representatives are invited to view a demonstration for the Robotic Refueling Mission payload live on NASA Television on Wednesday, July 6 at 2:30 p.m. EDT.

Managers and engineers from NASA and the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) will give an overview of the Robotic Refueling Mission (RRM) module, which the Space Shuttle Atlantis will deliver to the International Space Station. The Robotic Refueling Mission will feature Dextre, CSA’s robotic handyman on board the International Space Station, using hardware specially provided by NASA to test tools, technologies and techniques needed to robotically refuel satellites in space. RRM will also mark the first time that Dextre is used for a research and development project outside the robot’s usual role in maintaining and servicing the Space Station.
