MDA to supply RADARSAT-2 based information solution for an international customer

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today it has signed a contract in excess of $7 million (CAD) with a confidential international customer. MDA will use RADARSAT-2 data to produce advanced derived information to support the customer’s requirements.

MDA’s RADARSAT-2 satellite has global high-resolution surveillance capabilities that include a large collection capacity, and combined with its high accuracy, makes it capable of producing market-specific information critical to decision makers such as in the oil and gas industry, mining and defence and intelligence.
