MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it is working with IHI Aerospace of Japan to provide an information solution to help load pallets from the International Space Station onto Japan’s H2 Transfer Vehicle.

As Japan prepares for the launch, installation and operation of its space experiment module Kibo on the International Space Station, astronauts will use an MDA-supplied observation and guidance solution to safely load pallets containing equipment and supplies onto the H2 Transfer Vehicle. This award further affirms MDA’s unique capabilities in this area, and positions the Company well to provide future space exploration missions and in-orbit servicing applications.
