MDA to provide ground station solution for DigitalGlobe satellite program

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (“MDA” or the “Company”) (TSX: MDA), a global communications and information company, announced today that it has been awarded a contract from DigitalGlobe Inc. to provide a ground station solution to an international customer to enable access to information from the WorldView satellites. This contract is the seventh international ground station order to-date that MDA has received from DigitalGlobe.

MDA will provide a solution capable of receiving and processing imagery and data from the WorldView satellites. As prime contractor, MDA is responsible for developing, integrating and installing the WorldView information solution at the customer’s site.
