MDA Signs a Security Control Agreement with the U.S. Department of Defense

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (“MDA” or the “Company”) (TSX:MDA), a global communications and information company, today announced that the Company, together with its wholly-owned subsidiary, SSL MDA Holdings, Inc. based in San Francisco, CA, and the U.S. Department of Defense have executed the signing of a Security Control Agreement.

This completes an important step in the process to position the Company to more effectively pursue the U.S. Government space and defense markets.

The Company will now pursue facility security clearance for its operations in Palo Alto, CA to fully execute the Company’s broader U.S. growth strategy.
