MDA receives amendments to Design Phase of Canada’s RADARSAT Constellation Mission

Richmond, B.C. – MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (TSX: MDA), a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that it has signed three contract amendments with the Canadian Space Agency totaling $10.4 Million (CAD), for the Design Phase of the RADARSAT Constellation Mission. The amendments serve to initiate the procurement of parts and equipment needed for the Build Phase, which will require a lengthy period of time to complete, and include tasks to add mission functionality.
