MDA, a global communications and information company and SSL, a leading provider of innovative satellites and spacecraft systems, today announced that they are broadening their presence at next week’s GEOINT 2017 Symposium in San Antonio, Texas. On the show floor, in conference sessions and in private meetings and events, the company will demonstrate expanded end-to-end capabilities that support U.S. Government agencies and military services.  The company combines its long heritage of spacecraft manufacturing with commercial and government services including concept and systems development; advanced signal and imagery processing; multi-intelligence analytics; and ground systems that simplify and speed decision-making cycles.

“We have the systems and talent to quickly help reduce massive data sets into meaningful information,” said Rob Zitz, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, SSL Government Systems. “We bring a mix of innovative space and associated ground technology and sector expertise, where we can provide a full end-to-end solution or specific services to support customers with the intelligence task at hand, be it change detection or correlation of signal and image processing with open sources.”

On Monday, June 5 at 2:30 p.m. Mr. Zitz, who is also the USGIF Small Satellite Working Group Co-chair, will moderate a panel discussion on “Enabling the Next Generation of Satellites.” During the session, he will lead a panel of senior experts in a lively debate on the actions needed for the geospatial intelligence community to benefit from next generation small spacecraft and associated ground systems.

At GEOINT 2017 exhibition booth #751, MDA and SSL will show its suite of GEOINT products and services including intelligence and surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) solutions that are used across a spectrum of commercial, national and international security programs. These solutions support the entire intelligence lifecycle, from the collection of vital information across all domains, to the processing of data into intelligence products.

Held at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas, June 4-7, 2017, GEOINT 2017 brings together over 4,000 GEOINT professionals from all over the world for four action-packed days containing 100+ speakers, more than 50 hours of professional training, and 230+ exhibitors.
