Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to Close Due to Threat of Severe Weather from Hurricane Dorian

CAPE CANAVERAL – (August 30, 2019) – KENNEDY SPACE CENTER – As we continue to closely monitor Hurricane Dorian, we anticipate the closure of Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex on Sunday, September 1 and Monday, September 2.

On Saturday, August 31, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be open during regular operating hours of 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kennedy Space Center Bus Tours to the Apollo/Saturn V Center will be available until 2:30 p.m. Special Interest Tours will not be available.

During this closure visitors will not be permitted onto visitor complex grounds.

Preparations at the visitor complex are well underway in anticipation of severe weather due to Hurricane Dorian.
