Johnson Space Center Chooses Excalibur To Manage Space Missions Video Content
Excalibur Media Services Group, a division of Excalibur
Technologies Corporation and a leading provider of
video content management enabling technologies, today announced that
the Johnson Space Center has selected Excalibur Screening Room® to
manage video content originating with Space Shuttle and International
Space Station missions.
Under the agreement, Excalibur Screening Room will be used to
ingest, archive and manage Space Shuttle and International Space
Station video content to provide real-time and post mission analysis
and re-purposing of the video over the NASA intranet. Excalibur
software will be deployed at Johnson Space Center where it will
receive television downlink initiated from the Space Shuttle
and the International Space Station as part of the advanced technology
that provides essential mission support for the U.S. space effort.
