Infostellar, the creator of StellarStation and provider of global Ground Segment as a Service (GSaaS) to the space industry, is pleased to report that the company has achieved operational readiness for a key, Japanese commercial space industry launch.

We have been working diligently with our global partners, Viasat and Azercosmos on completing our readiness activities for this upcoming launch,” said Naomi Kurahara, CEO and Co-Founder of Infostellar. “We are pleased to report that this team has achieved operational readiness and is ‘Go for Launch’ for a key, confidential Japanese commercial satellite,” Kurahara added.

John Williams, Head of Viasat’s Real Time Earth business added, “We have a multi-dimensional partnership with Infostellar that includes GSaaS services and hosting RTE assets in Japan. Achieving this important readiness milestone demonstrates the effectiveness of our approach to global GSaaS services.”

Viasat RTE ground stations in the United States and the United Kingdom are coupled with Infostellar partner ground stations in Japan and Azerbaijan. Williams added, “We’ve been working together with Infostellar on an important European government project for over a year now. Adding this Japanese commercial mission to our resume demonstrates our team’s ability to collaborate on a multitude of space applications.”

Azercosmos’ Vice Chairman Fuad Aslanov noted, “We are very excited to be a part of this important Japanese launch. The partnership with Infostellar is a significant milestone in the achievement of our global objectives, and the main asset in this collaboration is our advanced ground station to provide high-quality, secure, and reliable services to the world.”

With worldwide network operations in Asia Pacific; Europe, the Middle East and Africa; and our new Americas region operating in the United States, Infostellar is quickly becoming a go-to solution provider for both commercial and satellite applications.
