Ground-Breaking Web-Based Exchange to Speed Product and Process Development, Reduce Cost, Increase Innovation

Magazine and Innovation Chain, Inc. today announce that they have
joined forces to provide engineers with a unique Web-based resource
that will speed product development, reduce costs and increase
innovation for engineers across a wide variety of industries and
disciplines. NASA Tech Briefs online magazine will offer a Model and
Simulation Exchange, powered and fully hosted by Innovation Chain,
which will launch January 2001. The Exchange will provide an online
database of models and simulations created by engineers. Among the
unique features of the Exchange is a patent-pending technology that
will integrate engineering models and data, deriving customized
results in a fraction of the time of traditional methods.
In addition to facilitating interactive design with existing
models, the NASA Tech Briefs Model and Simulation Exchange will
encourage engineers to submit their own models and simulations.
Engineers who are published on the Exchange will be eligible for
royalties.
