Global Positioning Satellite IIF-2 Launch Team Members to Hold Media Teleconference
LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, El Segundo, Calif. — Launch team members for the GPS IIF-2 mission will host a media teleconference on Tuesday, Jul. 5, at 11:15 a.m., EDT, to discuss the upcoming launch scheduled for Jul. 14, from Space Launch Complex 37B, Cape Canaveral Air Station, Fla.
Col. Christopher Warack, Space Systems Program Manager; Col. Bob Hodgkiss, GPS IIF-2 Mission Director; Maj. Mark Shoemaker, 45th Launch Support Squadron Operations Officer, Cape Canaveral Air Force Station; Mr. Jim Sponnick, United Launch Alliance Vice President of Mission Operations and Mr. Jon Goodney, GPS IIF Deputy Program Director of The Boeing Corporation will discuss details of the upcoming launch and will be available for questions.
