A Back to School Apple for the Colorado Region Science Teacher

Colorado region science teachers, are you planning to attend the October 4-5 Colorado Science Convention in Denver? Look for the Genesis booth #216 at the Denver Merchandise Mart. Exhibits are open from 4:00-6:30 p.m. on Thursday and 8:00a.m.-5:00p.m. Friday. Among the classroom “freebies” to look for are the recently-produced Genesis launch poster featuring the rocket during takeoff and several new Genesis education samplers.

There will be a Genesis education presentation on Friday, Oct. 5 from 2:50-3:50 in Room D 30-36. The presentation is titled: “Cosmogony: A Spongy Universe,” and will feature a hands-on activity to use in your science classroom. If you are looking for a multifaceted way to bring the National Science Education Standards into your curricula in a substantive and real-world way, don’t miss this!
