Geared to the professional requirements of Air Force enlisted and officers, Guardsmen and Reservists, civilians, retirees and industry representatives, Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition 2004 is a one-of-a-kind opportunity that will allow participants to network and dialogue on important national defense issues.

The future of air and space power will be addressed at workshops and forums featuring academicians and professionals who are experts in their fields. Featured speakers include former CIA Director R. James Woolsey, NASA Administrator Sean O’ Keefe, Secretary of the Air Force Dr. James G. Roche, Air Force Chief of Staff General John P. Jumper and best-selling author James Webb.

In addition, National Aerospace Awards Programs will recognize excellence and the outstanding achievement of the Air Force’s finest.

Finally, this year’s Aerospace Technology Exposition will include more than 100 exhibitors and offer new and exciting ways to explore today’s cutting edge aerospace technology.

Media Registration:

Members of the media can pre-register for Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition 2004 online at http://www.afa.org/register/media.asp.

During the conference, the Press Office will be located in the Carolinas Room at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel and will be open Monday, Sept. 15 and Tuesday, Sept. 16 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Wednesday, Sept 17, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Media badges will be issued at the media registration desk in the Press Office. News media must show valid credentials from their agency (press badge), photo identification and a business card to receive a badge. For those on assignment for another publication, freelancing or researching, they must have a letter indicating this from the publication’s editor along with photo identification. Tickets for some eating events have been reserved for media as guests only and will be issued on a first come basis the day of the event.

Soliciting or accepting orders for any product or service (including advertising space) in the Exhibit Hall or any other Air Force Association-controlled area of the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel is strictly prohibited. Distribution of your organization’s publications or other promotional material is also prohibited. AFA reserves the right to revoke the privileges of anyone violating these restrictions.
