Strohl Systems has announced that former NASA Administrator Sean O’Keefe will be the keynote speaker at the Strohl Systems User Group Conference on April 23, 2007 at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in Phoenix.

O’Keefe was NASA Administrator when the space shuttle Columbia disintegrated over Texas in 2003. He will discuss the crisis management and business continuity lessons learned from the event. In addition to sharing his experiences at NASA, O’Keefe will also recount his dealings with Hurricane Katrina while residing as the Chancellor of the Louisiana State University and A&M College, a position he still holds today.

“Sean O’Keefe has been a part of two high-profile disruptions in the past couple of years,” said Brian Turley, President of Strohl Systems. “His experience from the Columbia tragedy and Hurricane Katrina should prove valuable to the business continuity planners in attendance.”

The conference, titled “New Challenges. New Solutions,” will focus on the changing face of the business continuity profession and how Strohl Systems is developing solutions to meet these changes. Hundreds of international business continuity planners from Fortune 1000 companies, mid-size enterprises, government agencies and various other organizations will assemble to discuss industry trends and the latest in tools and techniques. It will be held April 22-25, 2007.
