Final Countdown Begins for the Travelers Advantage Edge of Space Sweepstakes
The final countdown for the
Travelers Advantage Edge of Space Sweepstakes has started as the deadline for
entries is less than two weeks away.
Provided in partnership with Space Adventures, this sweepstakes offers one
lucky legal U.S. resident a supersonic flight to the “edge of space” and back
aboard MiG-25. The flight will soar above 99 percent of Earth’s atmosphere,
where the winner will be able to see the blackness of space above and the
curvature of Earth below.
“U.S. residents can enter the Travelers Advantage Edge of Space
Sweepstakes by logging on to our Web site at http://www.travelersadvantage.com
and clicking on the photo of the supersonic jet,” Travelers Advantage Vice
President Julia Ryan said.
The approximate retail value of the Travelers Advantage Edge of Space
Sweepstakes Grand Prize is $16,595.00. Odds of winning are based on the number
of entries received. To enter or review the sweepstakes rules, visit the
Travelers Advantage Web site (http://www.travelersadvantage.com) and click on
the Edge of Space Sweepstakes icon. No purchase is necessary.
All legal U.S. residents who are 18 years of age or older and who satisfy
the health criteria and physical tests imposed by Space Adventures, Ltd. may
participate in this sweepstakes. Employees and the immediate families of the
Sponsor and Space Adventures, Ltd. living in their households and the
participating promotional companies, their subsidiaries and advertising
agencies are not eligible. This sweepstakes is void wherever prohibited or
restricted by law and is subject to all federal, state and local laws and
regulations. No purchase required. The deadline for entries is midnight,
December 31, 2002.
The Grand Prize includes round-trip airfare for two to Moscow, Russia,
from the major gateway airport nearest winner’s residence and two nights’ stay
for two with breakfast at the Marriott Grand Hotel. The Grand Prize winner
will receive the flight aboard a MiG-25 “Foxbat,” following planning, training
and physical check.
