FarEarth for SmallSats

Pinkmatter Solutions introduces an updated FarEarth for SmallSats service. This service offers new SmallSat entrants a user friendly, fast, and cost-effective means of receiving and processing imagery. The enhanced service offering follows the entire life of sensor; from pre-launch calibration to processing of the final image.

The service begins with pre-flight sensor modelling prior to launch. Post-launch in-flight calibration is performed by imaging calibration sites, utilizing publicly available sensors for cross-calibration. Both radiometric and geometric corrections are performed on the imagery. Pinkmatter Solutions remains a partner throughout the life of the SmallSat and offers periodic calibration. The FarEarth Acquisition System allows the received imagery data to be automatically uploaded to a cloud pick-up point for further processing. The service offering is provided as a complete cloud solution, allowing users access to the processed products which are securely stored in an archive. The imagery is easily accessed via a convenient catalogue which offers advanced image search, preview and download functionality.
