Extension or renewal of Director’s mandates

At its 146th meeting, on 20 June in Paris, the ESA Council took the following decisions:
 
* The term of office of the Director General, Antonio Rodotý, is extended   for a period of two years from 1 July 2001.
 
* The terms of office of Hans Kappler, Director of Industrial Matters and   Technology, and Daniel Sacotte, Director of Administration, are renewed   for a period of four years from 1 June 2001
