Exploration Park Ground Breaking at KSC

Key Event Marks the Beginning of Florida’s Newest Research and Innovation Park

Florida Lt. Governor Jeff Kottkamp, KSC Center Director Bob Cabana, Space Florida President Frank DiBello and Pizzuti Companies President Ron Pizzuti will host the official ground breaking event for Exploratin Park, a next-generation technology and commerce park that will be situated adjacent to NASA’s renowned Space Life Sciences Laboratory (SLSL) at Kennedy Space Center.

Local and State Legislators and community leaders will also be on hand at this event. Media interviews will be allowed following the groundbreaking ceremony.

WHEN: Friday, June 25, 2010 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 Noon

WHERE: Space Life Sciences Lab (SLSL) at Kennedy Space Center (Event will take place on the front lawn of the SLSL.)

MEDIA INFO: Media without permanent KSC credentials must apply for accreditation through KSC’s online accreditation process by 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, 2001 at https://media.ksc.nasa.gov.

Media interested in attending should meet at KSC’s News Center at 9:00 a.m. on June 25 for transportation to the SLSL.
