exactEarth Ltd (“exactEarth”) (TSX: XCT), a leading provider of real-time Satellite AIS (“S-AIS”) data services, has entered into an agreement with FleetMon, a leading global network provider of real-time Terrestrial AIS (“T-AIS”) data. Under the terms of the agreement, exactEarth and FleetMon will combine their S-AIS and T-AIS data services, respectively, to provide the maritime market with a fully-integrated real-time AIS solution.

The addition of the FleetMon real-time T-AIS capability further enhances exactEarth’s revolutionary real-time S-AIS service, and provides the most extensive and comprehensive AIS information available.  With 19 assets in orbit today, exactEarth has the largest high-performance S-AIS network in operation with more than 70 expected by the end of next year as further launches occur.

“We are pleased to enter into this partnership with FleetMon,” said Peter Mabson, exactEarth CEO. “FleetMon’s reputation in this industry as best-in-class is evident as they are trusted and used by over 350,000 users in the global maritime community. This agreement further expands the capability of our global vessel services and also means that a whole new set of customers worldwide will now have access to exactEarth’s S-AIS data and will see the value of truly real-time, continuous global coverage of maritime traffic.”

FleetMon CEO, Lars Brandstaeter stated, “This new partnership adds a new dimension to our AIS data service offering and we believe it will add tremendous value to our customers.”
