Eric Stallmer Joins Analytical Graphics, Inc. As Director Of Government Relations

Analytical Graphics, Inc. (AGI)
announced today that Eric W. Stallmer has joined the company as Director of
Government Relations.
In this newly created position, Stallmer will represent
AGI’s commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) products and technology to defense,
intelligence, and civil government sectors within the aerospace industry.
He
will be based in downtown Washington, D.C.

Stallmer comes to AGI from The Space Transportation Association (STA), a
non-profit, industry trade organization providing government representation to
companies with a vested interest in the U.S. space launch industry.
With STA
since 1995, he served as president during the past 18 months.

“Eric has been an important supporter of AGI’s COTS philosophy for a long
time, and we are all very excited to have him officially join our team,” said
Paul Graziani, President and CEO of AGI.
“He brings extensive government
affairs and space industry experience from his years at STA.
Eric’s expertise
will help us educate aerospace and defense professionals on the value of
leveraging AGI’s COTS analysis and visualization offerings to reduce program
development time, risk, and cost.”

this growth,” says Stallmer.

Before joining STA, Stallmer worked for Rep. Thomas Coburn (R-OK) and at
The Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C.
Prior to that, he served as a
logistics officer in the U.S. Army.
Receiving his commission from Fordham
University Army ROTC program, Stallmer earned a bachelor of arts in political
science from Mount Saint Mary College in New York and a master’s in public
administration from George Mason University.
He currently serves in the Army
Reserves as a logistical support officer in the Army Materiel Command’s
Logistics Civil Augmentation Program (LOGCAP).

Stallmer publicly promotes the military use of commercial space by serving
on several industry and congressional space advisory committees.
His expert
opinions have also been featured in print and on television via The Washington
Post, The Wall Street Journal, Washington Times, Orlando Sentinel, Space News,
Florida Today, Der Spiegel, Today show, ABC News, CBS News Radio, Fox News,
BBC, CNBC, CSPAN, and Space.com.
Stallmer is originally from upstate New York
and resides in Alexandria, VA, with his wife Ellen.
