Emergent Space Technologies Selected as a Prime Contractor on DARPA System F6 Program

Greenbelt, MD, TBD, 2011 – Emergent Space Technologies, Inc. (Emergent), a provider of advanced engineering services and solutions to civil, military, and commercial space programs, was awarded a contract by the NASA Ames Research Center to provide cluster flight guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms and software for the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) System F6 Program.

Emergent’s contract is worth up to $6.7 million over 2.5-year period of performance (6-month base plus two 1-year options). Emergent, a certified CMMI Level 3 software developer, will perform systems engineering, algorithm design, flight software development, integration, and verification and validation, including hardware-in-the-loop testing, for the program’s Cluster Flight Technical area.
