To date, the forest fire hitting the surroundings of Fort McMurray (Alberta, Canada) has forced the evacuation of more than 80,000 inhabitants and destroyed many buildings and homes to the ground.

Landsat-7 and 8 (NASA, USGS) satellite images allow seeing the extent of this natural disaster satellite images of the affected area before and after the catastrophe (respectively April 10th and May 4th, 2016).
