CSC Wins $23 Million Contract to Support Advanced Systems at Missile Defense Agency

Corporation has been awarded a task order to support the Missile
Defense Agency (MDA) in the development of advanced capabilities for the
ballistic missile defense system. The contract includes three parts. The
base year and three one-year options are valued collectively at more than
$23 million if all options are exercised. An additional six-year term,
potentially worth more than $36 million, may be awarded on a performance
basis.

Under the contract, CSC will provide technical program management, systems
integration and scientific services to assist the MDA’s Advanced Systems
Directorate. Specifically, CSC will support the development of technologies
to improve sensor discrimination, battle management and other missile defense
capabilities.

“This is an exciting opportunity to support planning and execution of the
innovative concepts necessary to improve our nation’s missile defense
capabilities,” said Aaron Fuller, vice president and general manager of CSC’s
Navy/Marine Corps and Missile Defense organization. “CSC’s extensive
experience in the technical, scientific and program management disciplines
required for effective ballistic missile defense ideally positions CSC for
this role.”

Approximately 30 employees from CSC and its subcontractors will perform
the work in Arlington, Va.
