CSC Wins $14 Million NASA Contract

Computer Sciences Corporation
has won a contract with the National Aeronautics & Space
Administration (NASA) to provide engineering services at the Wallops Flight
Facility located on Wallops Island, Va.

Awarded by Goddard Space Flight Center/Wallops Flight Facility, the
indefinite-quantity, basic task-order contract is valued at $14 million over
three years, including a one-year option period.
CSC will provide a variety
of technical and engineering services including software systems, electrical
systems, flight and ground safety, guidance navigation and control, mechanical
systems and project management support.
Approximately 50 CSC engineers and
computer specialists will perform the work.

Wallops,” said Dave Ziobro, vice president of NASA Programs at CSC.

Teaming with CSC are small businesses Swales Aerospace of Beltsville, Md.,
and LKC Systems Inc., of Gaithersburg, Md.
Swales will provide specialized
engineering support, and LKC will provide calibration and instrumentation
repair services.
