Students and Advisors take note; the submission deadline for all projects is approaching quickly next week on Tuesday, Dec. 15. Be sure to review the rules and deliverables sections related to your category in the Competition section of the website and get those projects in!

A lot of exciting things have been going on lately, so while you and your teams are putting the finishing touches on your projects, be sure to check out the website to see what the rest of the Conrad Foundation community has been up to.

On the Conrad Foundation Blog we’ve posted interviews with some reputable community members – Gwynne Rife, a Ph.D. Professor of Biology and Education, and Lelon Sanderson a materials scientist who specializes in instrumentation.

Our friends at the Coalition for Space Exploration just released a new video called “When was the last time you went to space?” This is the third video from the Coalition designed to educate and inform the public on the importance of space exploration. Check it out here: www.spacecoalition.com/SpaceMatters and be sure to share it with your family, friends, and colleagues.

Lastly, the Conrad Foundation had a fantastic showing at TEDxSF, an independently organized event where world-leading thinkers and doers share their passion for Technology, Entertainment and Design. Our own Nancy Conrad gave a presentation, which also featured Final Frontier Apparel, one of the winning teams from last year’s Spirit of Innovation Awards. Check out the blog to see Nancy and Final Frontier Apparel talk about the Spirit of Innovation Awards.

Good Luck with your projects!

Sincerely, The Conrad Foundation
