COM DEV Announces Completion of MESL Microwave Ltd Acquisition

COM DEV International Ltd. (TSX: CDV), a global designer and manufacturer of space hardware and subsystems, announced today that it has completed the purchase of 100 percent of MESL Microwave Ltd. for £12.8 million as expected, and as previously described in its press release of December 12, 2014.

The purchase price, which represents an EBITDA multiple of 8.5x projected full year EBITDA has been financed by a combination of cash on hand and additional borrowings under the Company’s previously expanded credit facility.

Advising the Company on this acquisition transaction were CanaccordGenuity and The Black Box Institute, both based in Toronto, with legal advisors including Gardiner Roberts, LLP in Toronto, and Lindsays in the UK.
