Colorado Space Business Roundtable to Meet During the 16th National Space Symposium

Colorado Springs, Colo. (March 29, 2000) –
Members of the Colorado Space Business
Roundtable (CSBR), consisting of leaders within
the space business industry, will meet for a
special luncheon program at the Broadmoor Hotel
April 6th, in conjunction with the Space
Foundation’s National Space Symposium. Special
guest speaker at the luncheon will be John
Douglass, President, CEO, and General Manager of
the Aerospace Industries Association.

John W. Douglass began his term as seventh full-
time executive of the Aerospace Industries
Association in September of 1998, after a tour
at the Pentagon as Assistant Secretary of the
Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition.
The 80-year-old association represents the
nation’s aerospace manufacturers.

Widely regarded as the premier annual space
forum, the National Space Symposium features top
national and international speakers addressing
critical civil, commercial and national security
space issues. Featured speakers include
Secretary of Transportation Rodney Slater,
NASA’s Dan Goldin, Space Command’s Gen. Ed
Eberhart, NRO Director Keith Hall, NOAA
Administrator Dr. James Baker, Al Smith of
Lockheed Martin, Jim Albaugh of The Boeing
Company, and Raytheon Chairman Dan Burnham.
