ATA Engineering, Inc., (ATA), a nationwide provider of innovative, high-value test- and analysis-driven mechanical engineering design solutions, has been selected as the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s 2010 Small Business Subcontractor of the Year.

This award, presented by each of NASA’s 10 field centers, recognizes companies who “provide value-added and outstanding support – on schedule and within cost – and innovative solutions to problems/issues that arise in the execution of the contract.” The award will be presented to ATA at the 3rd Annual NASA Small Business Awards Ceremony which will be held on December 1st, 2010 in Bethesda, Maryland.

Nominated for work performed in support of multiple JPL spacecraft and science programs including Mars Science Laboratory, the next Mars rover, ATA personnel working with JPL have been continuously providing structural, thermal, and testing engineering services since 2004.

“All of us here at ATA are very proud to have been selected by NASA JPL as their Small Business Subcontractor of the Year. This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team to providing NASA with the highest-value, innovative solutions to their challenging engineering needs. We have thoroughly enjoyed supporting JPL over these last six years and look forward to the opportunity to continue to provide the same outstanding level of support in the years to come,” says Mr. David Hunt, Vice President of Business Development at ATA.
