Andromed Mission Poised for Return to Earth

The Andromde mission, organized by CNES with French member of the
ESA Astronaut Corps Claudie HaignerŽ on the crew, is scheduled to
return to Earth on Wednesday 31 October 2001 at 5.50 a.m. French
time.

Follow all the key phases of the return flight:

  • crew entry in Soyuz TM-32 spacecraft on 30 October

  • closing of spacecraft airlock (scheduled 11.30 p.m. French
    time, 30 October)

  • undocking from International Space Station (scheduled 2.40
    a.m. French time, 31 October)

  • landing in Kazakhstan (scheduled 5.50 a.m. French time,
    31 October)


  • – by connecting to the call server (on +33 (0)5 61 28 20 00) that will be provided on Wednesday
    31 October, from 12.30 a.m. French time,

    – at CADMOS at the Toulouse Space Centre (audio only): for schedule details and accreditations

    A TV feed will be available on 31 October from 5.00 p.m. French time, via SERTE.

    A video of the final phases of the mission will also be available on 31 October from www.cnes-tv.net
