Aeronautics Research Office Deputy Director Selected at NASA Glenn

CLEVELAND – Mr. Gregory Follen was recently selected as the deputy director for the Aeronautics Research Office at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. The office is the focal point for the center’s aeronautics research and provides project management, leadership and oversight in support of the Aeronautics Research Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington.

In this position Follen has responsibility for Glenn’s participation in the Fundamental Aeronautics Project, Integrated Systems Research Project, Aviation Safety Project and the Aeronautics Test Project.

Follen served as the NASA Fundamental Aeronautics Subsonic Fixed Wing deputy project manager. In that position, he was responsible for developing the yearly Sub Project Plans and managing the execution of its activities across four NASA research centers.

Follen has over 30 years experience in project management within Aeronautics at NASA Glenn, including serving as project manager for the Aviation Safety’s Aircraft Aging and Durability Project.
