15th Annual NASA – NASA Alumni League Meeting

The 15th. Annual Meeting of NASA and NAL will be held on May 11, 2001 at the James E. Webb Memorial Auditorium, NASA Headquarters, 300 E Street, SW, Washington, DC.

(The Federal Center Metro stop on the orange/blue line is about one block away.)

James Beggs, Chairman of the NAL Board of Directors and former NASA Administrator who will MC the meeting, will open discussions at 8:15 am.

The first speaker will be the NASA Administrator, one suggested topic for his presentation is the state ot the agency.

The next two speakers will be Steve Isakowitz (OMB NASA analyst) discussing the budget and John Douglas (President and CEO of the A.I.A.) speaking on the
State of the U.S. Aerospace Industry.

They will be followed by senior NASA Headquarters managers updating us the  ISS and the Shuttle Upgrade; the X-vehicles, propulsion R&D and Aeronautics
R&D; then Space Sciences, the Mars progam and the Hubble.

We adjourn at 5:30 pm. A reception will follow.
