We Got Our Satellite, ahumanright.org

“After months of grueling back room negotiations Terrestar has unanimously decided to liquidate their assets and fold their company. The satellite “Terrestar 1 has been donated to ahumanright.org in a move heralded by industry leaders as “a generous gift to further the growth and development of humanity.” Terrestar-1 is capable of delivering Internet access and phone services to millions of people in under-developed and developed countries.

Individuals close to the company remarked that the recent “Buy This Satellite” campaign launched by ahumanright.org served as an inspiration for the company as they wrestled with the tough decisions during their bankruptcy. Industry insiders believe that the failure of the Echostar buyout was the final nail in the coffin for the desperate company.”
