SES Space & Defense has been awarded a multi-year contract by the US Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) to conduct tests on the military use of multiple commercial space broadband services. The tests will be conducted across multi-orbit, multi-band satellite networks to further military airborne communications, especially in the Arctic region.
