Rocket Lab Opens New Engine Development Center After Virgin Orbit Facility Buyout — Rocket Lab Launches 40th Electron Mission in August 2023.

Launch company Rocket Lab has announced the official opening of its new Engine Development Center in Long Beach, California, after acquiring the property from the now-bankrupt Virgin Orbit for $16.1 million in May. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place on October 4th.
