NASA Declares SpaceX Raptor Engine Test a Success, but Bigger Hurdles remain for Starship Human Landing System

Sometime in August, SpaceX successfully test-fired one of the company’s Raptor rocket engines that could be used to safely land astronauts on the Moon in 2025 via Starship, according to a new NASA blog post, proving the engine could start up in the extreme cold of space.
