Lockheed Martin’s New Factory Signals Move to Small Satellites

Lockheed Martin is making a big shift to small satellites. The aerospace giant recently opened a new facility near Denver with 20,000 square feet available, which the company says it will use to create 180 small satellites a year, in part thanks to a setup using parallel assembly lines.
