SUMMARY:74th International Astronautical Congress - IAC 2023
DESCRIPTION:At the IAC 2019\, the IAF General Assembly selected Baku\, Azerbaijan\, as the Host city for IAC 2022\, with the host organization being Azercosmos\, Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Following the growing escalation of the COVID-19 outbreak around the world\, the IAF has been forced to re-assess the overall schedule of IACs. On Wednesday 3 June 2020\, an extraordinary session of the Bureau of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF) was chaired by Pascale Ehrenfreund\, IAF President. The Bureau reviewed the calendar of the forthcoming editions of the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) in light of the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting lockdown. As a result\, Baku will welcome the international space community on 2-6 October 2023 for the 74th International Astronautical Congress. \nThe IAC 2023 to be held under the theme Global Challenges and Opportunities: Give Space a Chance in Azerbaijan’s capital will extend unequalled prospects for establishing strong collaborations\, and will serve as a perfect occasion to reach a diverse international audience through one-of-a-kind exposure both within the region and internationally. Delving into the most recent developments in the sphere of space at the Congress\, the guests and participants will also have a chance to experience the authentic culture and hospitality of Azerbaijan.

SUMMARY:73rd International Astronautical Congress
DESCRIPTION:The International Astronautical Congress 2022 will be hosted in the beautiful city of Paris\, France. Exceptionally\, the IAC 2022 will be from Sunday till Thursday\, 18-22 September at the Paris Convention Centre (1 place de la Porte de Versailles\, Paris). The Hosting Organization is the Centre National dtudes Spatiales (CNES)\, a member of IAF since 1981. Paris hosted the first IAC ever in 1950\, then in 1963 and lastly in 1982 and now will be holding the record of the city with most IACs hosted. \nWith the theme Space for all we would like to make this IAC an outstanding occasion to bring together all space communities\, alongside the burgeoning global ecosystem and start-ups\, entrepreneurs\, laboratories\, research scientists and manufacturers that could get involved in space activities or benefit from them. Special attention will be paid to students and young professionals\, who will be closely associated through dedicated events. And the general public will not be forgotten\, as space-themed conferences and exhibitions will accompany IAC.
