Hearing: Continuing U.S. Leadership in Commercial Space at Home and Abroad

House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Frank Lucas has announced that the Committee will hold a hearing to hear stakeholder perspectives about the state of the U.S. commercial space industry and provide considerations for prospective commercial space legislation to be considered by the Committee.
“Our thriving commercial space sector holds great promise thanks to ongoing investments in public-private partnerships and cutting-edge innovation,” Chairman Lucas said. “Looking ahead, we need to ensure we continue to create a flourishing environment that supports the growth of this industry and the unique opportunities it presents. I look forward to our discussion with our selected witnesses to learn more about the ways we can best legislate and ensure the continued leadership of the U.S. commercial space sector.”
